ELENA HOTINSKI BDSc (UWA), DClinDent (Pros)
Dr Hotinski grew up in Perth and originally graduated from The University of Western Australia with a Bachelor of Dental Science. After working in private practice in Perth, she then relocated to Adelaide. It was here she completed a further three years of study, receiving her Doctor of Clinical Dentistry from The University of Adelaide to qualify as a specialist prosthodontist.
Dr Hotinski enjoys working together with her patients to deliver optimal dental care, which is individualised to best suit their particular needs. She has specific interests in all aspects of prosthodontics, including the replacement of missing teeth with dental implants, complex restorative dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, and challenging denture cases. She is also well equipped to treat the highly anxious patient
Dr Hotinski is the current president of the Australian Prosthodontic Society (South Australian branch), and a member of the Australian Dental Association, and the Australian and New Zealand Academy of Prosthodontists. She also keeps up to date with the latest in dental research, and is a published author herself, being awarded the APS Education & Research Grant during her postgraduate studies. As well as research, Dr Hotinski regularly attends ongoing clinical education lectures, conferences and workshops to be up to date with the latest techniques and advancements in dentistry. She has also been extensively involved in teaching of undergraduate dental students at The University of Adelaide.
Dr Hotinski is recently married and is mother to her spoodle puppy Rupert. Ellie’s other interests apart from her family and prosthodontics include travel, beach walks, and snow skiing.
